Apply for JTSN therapist training

Application deadline: October 30, 2026

IMPORTANT: Before starting the application, read the following information and review our training program schedule, requirements, and commitments.

The JTSN program, a project of the Global Center for Journalism and Trauma, trains experienced trauma therapists to provide culturally competent care to journalists.

Participants must be licensed to practice in the U.S., and already have a private clinical practice with appropriate liability insurance. If you treat a journalist who locates you through the JTSN program, assessment and care will occur within your practice, under your own liability insurance, and in keeping with all professional and ethical principles and regulations under which you practice.

Please note: We recruit a limited number of therapists each training cycle, and may not accept all qualified applicants.
